Year One Report Workshop

 

Designed for Institutions NOT Scheduled for 2011 or 2012 Comprehensive (All Standards) Evaluations

Preliminary Workshop Program
Eligible Institutions

The Year One Report Workshop is purposefully designed to assist institutions in preparing their 2011 Year One Reports based on Standard One of the revised standards. Blending presentations and facilitated discussions with representatives of Pilot Project institutions, the Year One Report Workshop will address: 1) Institutional mission; 2) Mission fulfillment; 3) Acceptable extent of mission fulfillment; 4) Mission core themes; 5) Core theme objectives; 6) Assessable indicators of achievement of core theme objectives; and 7) Rationale for the selection of those indicators of achievement. The preliminary program for the Year One Report Workshop is available via the link above.

The Comprehensive (All Standards) Report and Visit Workshop is specifically intended for institutions scheduled for comprehensive evaluations in 2011 or 2012. The Year One Report Workshop is designed for ALL OTHER institutions (i.e., institutions NOT scheduled for comprehensive (all standards) evaluations in 2011 or 2012). To assist you in determining the workshop appropriate for your institution, please refer to the list of eligible Year One Report Workshop institutions.

NOTE: Although institutions scheduled for comprehensive (all standards) evaluations in 2012 will also submit a Year One Report in 2011, representatives from those institutions should not register for the Year One Report Workshop, since the topics from the Year One Report Workshop will be covered as part of the Comprehensive (All Standards) Report and Visit Workshop.

All events are scheduled at the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport. NWCCU has made arrangements with the hotel to offer rooms for the conference rate of $159.00 per night (plus taxes and applicable fees). (Room rate includes free high speed internet access in the lodging rooms as well as a reduced parking rate.) Reservations may be made by calling 800-445-8667. Please request the rate for the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities event. Cutoff date for reservations at the conference rate has been extended to February 5, 2010.
