• On June 23, 2008, the Board of Commissioners revised Policy A-14 (Complaints regarding member and candidate institutions)
• On May 27, 2008, the Board of Commissioners revised Policy A-2 (Substantive Change).

On August 17, 2007, the Board of Commissioners adopted a new Policy A-25 regarding the handling of complaints against NWCCU.

On January 12, 2005, the Board of Commissioners modified its procedures for reviewing Applications for Consideration.
• At its January 2005 meeting, the Board of Commissioners revised Policy A–4 (Conflict of Interest).
• At its June 2004 meeting, the Board of Commissioners amended Article I (Membership) of the Bylaws of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
