NWCCU is pleased to announce that registration has opened for the Demonstration Project Summit, a meeting for institutional representatives to discuss Project results after three years of the Demonstration Project.
The purpose of the Demonstration Project has been to show how General Education assessments at the institutional level can provide sufficient data to assess mission fulfillment. Participate in the discussion regarding the end goal of the Demonstration Project to develop a Toolbox of best practices that other member institutions can use. These practices are found within the broader areas of defining institutional mission and a general education framework, implementing methodologies for collecting data, analyzing the data, and utilizing the outcomes for continuous improvement. The Summit provides the opportunity to dialogue with member institutions regarding the development of this “best practices” Toolbox and the experiences of the Demonstration Project institutions. The peer evaluators who visited each institution will also be present to provide their insight on the project.
The Summit will be held at the Doubletree Seattle Airport Hotel and Conference Center on October 9th, from 9:00am till 3:00pm (breakfast available at 8:00am). Registration is $140, and all institutional representatives are welcome.
